About the event
In this fun, unique and hands-on 2 hour class, you will create 3 beautiful seasonal designs of nerikiri to take home with a matching green tea to enjoy.
Almost too beautiful to eat, nerikiri are designed to engage all your senses!
Beginner to Intermediate Level
Suitable for ages 14 and up
WHAT WILL YOU LEARN
- Key ingredients such as sweet bean paste (anko).
- Learn about nerikiri.
- Techniques to wrap anko in nerikiri and how to create shapes.
- How to add colour
- Learn techniques using the traditional tool "Sankakubou" (three sided stick)
- How to express the designs and create three seasonal designs to take home.
WHAT TO BRING
All materials are provided including nerikiri dough. You will not need to make nerikiri dough during the class.
Small bag to take home your creation (our box size approximately : 15cm x 15cm x H6cm)

Nerikiri and Anko Set - $12. Includes nerikiri dough (100g) + Anko (4 x 20g) *If you would like to pre-order to guarantee stock, please let me know in advance of the class!
Some wagshi making tools are available to purchase at class (from ~$25-)
NOTE
Our sweets are plant based, gluten-free, dairy-free and egg-free, but do advise if you have any allergies.
Recommend to be consumed by next day for the best experience.
Please arrive at least 5 minutes before the start of the class.
